May I first apologise for not being able to speak German.

Hello I am from Scotland and support Greenock Morton who also play in the blue and white hoops (although this year we are playing in stripes), so when it came to selecting a German team to support Duisburg were the only serious choice.

The thing is I am moving too Germany in June 2007 and would like to get a MSV season ticket and attending their matches next year, If any of your members could help out with some advice it would be great.

Scotsmen always are welcome.

You should simply go to our great stadium in june and buy a ticket. No problem. The supporters are on the north-stand called "König Pilsener-Fankurve".

Guys from the Highlands are always a great pleasure, so welcome on board.

Don't mind 'bout the season-ticket, just walk up to the ticket-center at the Arena and order it. If you like to get in the supporters area choose your ticket as Old School said for the "König-Pilsener Tribüne" there you'll find the stands but also seats. But I think you'll prefer the stands;)

I'm not quite sure if the tickets will be on sale in june, early july is more likely....

I know Donga but I have not seen him in a long time, Dowza is on a round the world trip just now, he left last November but I'm not sure when he is back. He has a blog if I find the link I will PM it to you.

I hope yoú`ll have enogh time to drink a lot of beer with us, if you want to visit the Ruhr-Area, here a many people who wants to help you to, like you in Greenock.

I’ve not got my housing sorted yet but I will probably be staying in Mönchengladbach or Düsseldorf.

I’ll be in Germany for 3 or 4 years so I will have plenty of time to go for a drink.

ey leute, "you are welcome" heißt nicht "du bist willkommen" sondern eher "gern geschehen" nachdem sich jmd bedankt........

Mir brauchst Du nicht zu helfen. Mein Englisch-Deutsch und Deutsch-Englisch Wörterbuch von Pons bestätigt mich, dass beide Bedeutungen vorhanden sind. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich auch nur von Idioten geschrieben. Ach übrigens: Er sagt, er wird voraussichtlich in MG oder Ddorf wohnen. 3 oder 4 Jahre sind angedacht.:D
 
Sicher sollte danach aber noch ein Objekt folgen, wie zB "you are welcome to join our forum community".

Die beste Quelle wäre sicherlich Hagrid, der alte Anglistikprofessor ;)

I'm sure you'll have fun here in Duisburg and on this board!
Next season we'll play in the Bundesliga (I'm pretty sure ;) ) but there wont be much success I'm afraid :(. But who cares? As a supporter of the Zebras you need much patience anyway :D so... I'd like you seeing some good matches of our Team in League 1 !
