Fan Friendship with Portsmouth FC (Twinned City)

In 2011 a group of York City supporters visited Duisburg for the game against Aachen and since that day a small friendship betwen the persons formed. Supporters from York and Duisburg regularly visit each other every year. Next week we flight to york for the away game in carlisle .

Heute spielt Pompey übrigens im FA Cup gegen Ipswich Town (die wiederum fantechnisch mit Fortuna Düsseldorf liiert sind).

Also heute besonders die Daumen drücken!

Vor wenigen Minuten hat Pompey mit einem 3:1 Sieg bei Notts County den Aufstieg in die 3.Liga (Sky Bet Leauge I) klar gemacht.
Nach vielen Jahren wo es nur bergab ging, hat der Verein der seinen eigenen Fans gehört, nun den Weg in eine andere Richtung angetreten.
Viel Glück und herzlichen Glückwunsch über den Ärmelkanal.
